Hello, welcome back! Today, I brought a topic that a lot of new membership owners or those who are looking to launch a membership in the future may be interested in it. What if you launch a membership, and no one joins?

Trust me, I’ve been through this many, many times. You work really hard on launch and if you’re lucky, someone joins. If you’re not, you hear crickets. Does that sound familiar?

I get it, it’s embarrassing. It’s worse if you made a big deal about the launch and had this entire marketing sequence hyping people up for your new membership. But in the end, you didn’t get as many members as you’d like to. What’s worse is gathering those who joined a membership community. I’ve once had to have two people in a Facebook group for our membership. It was really embarrassing.

But here’s the thing. I’m not a mindset guru and I don’t have strategies on how to shift your mindset so that you are appreciative of the two members and don’t feel embarrassed about it. Yes, it’s thankful that you have two members in your membership, but that doesn’t take away the fact that only a few people joined.

So what I’m going to go over today are strategies that will allow you to get more members in your membership every single week, so that it kind of feels like they’re just being accepted over time. I know it’s sneaky, but again. This is what I literally did to avoid feeling embarrassed about the number of members in my membership. Plus, it’s better if you’re here because absolutely no one joined.

Automate your sales system

I know a loooot of people are against this. I know it’s all about intimacy and no evergreen selling. But hear me out.

Yes, you need to sell your business to run your business. But no one said you have to do it every. Single. Day. When you sell an info product, there are only two things you need to do. Give, and sell.

What an automated sales system does is it does the selling FOR you. You don’t have to live launch a membership and have open-close memberships so you only get members when you live launch. An automated funnel allows you to get new members joining every single day, without you actually having to be present.

So what do you do? You GIVE. You show up on social media, create content or record podcast episodes to get people inside that automated funnel, it’s simple.
